Private Walking Tour - March 16th
The Architecture Foundation of British Columbia is hosting a walking tour through Vancouver's downtown, highlighting key buildings and infrastructure that makes Vancouver what it is today, and discussing the role architects and planners have on building a good city.
The AFBC has been working on revamping and modernizing tours that used to be hosted through the AIBC, full program to run through the summer of 2025.
Please note:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
There will be extended walking and standing for the full duration of the tour
We ask you leave your pets and strollers at home
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
The tour will be offered rain or shine! If we do get some liquid sunshine, rain jackets are preferred to umbrellas due to group size and navigating the sidewalks
**meet at the Marinaside Crescent Roundabout, near the "Streetlamp" sculpture. You can look for our guide Michael wearing a black t-shirt with AFBC printed on it, and he'll be holding an orange pool noodle.
