Architects in Schools introduces students to the power of design through hands-on, architect-led learning.

Architects in Schools is designed to integrate seamlessly into classroom learning.

Teachers can expect:

  • A structured, easy-to-follow program that includes a presentation PowerPoint, worksheets & marking rubric

  • Collaboration with a volunteer architect

  • Materials and guidance provided

  • Flexible integration into BC curriculum

Pilot Program:

Our pilot program reached 100 students across three elementary schools, with four volunteer architects delivering 10 hours of hands-on learning. Below is a selection of student projects developed over the two sessions.

  • Lead classroom sessions using provided materials

  • Guide students through the design process

  • Support creative exploration and critical thinking
